PETLoves Terms of Service

Rules for the PETLoves community, pet-friendly services, professional accounts and content.

These terms govern use of PETLoves, a mobile and web experience for pet care, community, diary, alerts, Pet Care, questions, professional profiles, pet-friendly places, reviews, local experiences and public previews.

By using PETLoves, users agree to use the app responsibly, provide accurate information and respect people, animals, professionals and the community.

Service

PETLoves provides tools for:

• owner and pet profiles;
• account access and live sync where enabled;
• pet diary, health reminders and emergency profile;
• Feed, stories, questions, answers, comments, reviews and media editing before publication;
• Alert reports for lost pets, found pets and local risks;
• Vivi Zampa events, meetups, pet-friendly areas and local places;
• Pet Care providers, professionals, calendars, booking requests and reviews;
• professional dashboards, public profiles, media galleries and labeled sponsored content when active.

Some features may be in beta, limited by geography or disabled until production services are active. PETLoves may update, limit or remove features to improve quality, safety or compliance.

Copyright, ownership and trademarks

PETLoves, the PETLoves name, product experience, application structure, source code, layouts, copy, proprietary graphics, logos, icons, public pages, release materials and original documentation are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights owned by Alessandro Caturano, unless a specific third-party license or written agreement states otherwise.

All rights are reserved. Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, scrape, mirror, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, redistribute, imitate or commercially exploit PETLoves materials without prior written authorization.

Third-party libraries, SDKs, fonts, icons, maps, platform assets and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses and notices.

Limited license to use PETLoves

PETLoves grants users a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use the app and public pages only for lawful pet care, community, diary, local discovery, professional profile and support purposes.

This license does not transfer ownership of PETLoves software, branding, data models, screenshots, product flows, design, database structure, API behavior or public web materials.

PETLoves may suspend, limit or revoke access when use violates these Terms, Trust and Safety rules, privacy rules, store policies, security requirements or applicable law.

Accounts and roles

You must be aged 16 or over to create or use a personal PETLoves account. People under 16 are not eligible, including under adult supervision. Users aged 16-17 remain minors: eligibility for an account or independent privacy consent does not establish legal capacity for every contract. Features involving commitments that require an adult must not be used independently by minors. The product requirement for professional accounts and sponsored campaigns is 18 or over, with any additional professional requirements applicable to the activity.

PETLoves supports owner accounts and professional accounts. A user may convert an owner account into a professional account through the required setup flow. Professional accounts may require category, business details, operating area, services, availability, public media and safety checks.

Users are responsible for keeping profile data accurate. Professional users must not claim qualifications, licenses, prices, availability or services that they cannot provide.

Community rules

Users must not post or share content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, misleading, violent, sexually explicit, spammy, privacy-invasive, unsafe for pets or intended to harm people or animals.

Users must not publish another person's private information, documents, address, photos, videos or health details without permission.

Users must not publish content that infringes copyright, trademarks, image rights, database rights, professional credentials or other third-party rights.

PETLoves may remove content, limit visibility, suspend features, block abusive interactions or preserve records when needed for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, moderation audit, store review or platform integrity.

User-generated content

Users remain responsible for the content they publish. PETLoves may display, organize, rank and share content inside the app or on public PETLoves web previews according to user actions, privacy settings and feature design. Public content may be visible to other users, followers, nearby users, reviewers or public web visitors depending on the feature.

Users keep the rights they have in their own content, subject to rights owned by others. By publishing or submitting content to PETLoves, users grant PETLoves the limited rights needed to host, store, process, resize, transcode, display, rank, moderate, back up, troubleshoot and share that content inside PETLoves features and related public previews, according to the user's actions and settings.

Users confirm they have the rights, permissions and releases needed for photos, videos, comments, reviews, professional claims, pet information, location context and other materials they submit.

Users can report content and may delete their own posts, stories, comments, questions, alerts or reviews where the app supports deletion. Some records may remain in moderation, safety, backup or legal logs when required.

Prohibited technical use

Users must not attempt to bypass security, copy private APIs, overload the service, extract data at scale, harvest profiles, automate abusive actions, reverse engineer non-public code, interfere with moderation, evade account limits, impersonate PETLoves or use PETLoves materials to build a confusingly similar service.

Intellectual property complaints

If a user, professional or rights holder believes that content on PETLoves infringes copyright, trademark, image rights or other rights, they can contact support@petloves.it with enough information to identify the content, the claimed right, the owner or representative and the requested action.

PETLoves may remove or limit allegedly infringing content, ask for additional evidence, preserve audit records and restore content when a report is incomplete, abusive or successfully appealed.

Media editing and previews

Photos may be refined before publication with basic filters, user-added hashtags and privacy-safe metadata. The current image-only release does not allow new video or audio capture or uploads; videos uploaded with earlier releases may remain available for playback or deletion. PETLoves does not export the original media file when a user shares a story, post or professional profile externally; it creates a preview link that points back to the content in the app or website.

Pet health and emergency information

Diario, Profilo Emergenza, health reminders, questions and Pet Care health categories are organizational tools. They do not replace veterinarians, emergency clinics, diagnosis or professional medical advice. In urgent situations, users should contact a veterinarian, clinic or emergency service.

Pet Care and professional services

PETLoves helps users discover, contact and request appointments with professionals or activities. Unless a production payment and booking system is explicitly active, in-app booking flows are requests and organizational tools, not guaranteed paid reservations.

Professionals are responsible for service quality, legal compliance, insurance, licenses when applicable, pricing, cancellation conditions, media rights and communication with clients.

Sponsor campaigns and ads

Sponsored content must be clearly labeled when active. Sponsorship may affect placement, visibility or recommendation order but must not hide safety information, organic reviews or mandatory disclosures. Campaign setup may require budget, area, creative assets, billing details and approval before activation.

Reviews and ratings

Reviews should describe real experiences and must not be fake, paid without disclosure, defamatory or abusive. Reviews may include stars, comments and user-submitted media where enabled. PETLoves may rank places and professionals using distance, relevance, rating quality, review volume, freshness and safety signals, and may moderate reviews that violate policy.

Alerts and safety reports

Alert reports should help the community while protecting privacy and safety. Users should avoid confrontation, private addresses and unverified accusations. For emergencies, contact competent professionals or authorities.

Privacy and data

PETLoves handles data according to the Privacy Policy. Users control data reset, sharing actions, deletion requests and permission settings. If backend accounts are enabled, account deletion, retention and data rights flows must remain available.

Changes and availability

PETLoves may change features, policies or availability during launch preparation and after release. The app may be unavailable because of maintenance, provider issues, moderation needs, security incidents or store review requirements.
